Please read the following carefully.
To protect the integrity of our jar-test methodology and to provide accurate, reliable results, the conditions and practices outlined below must be strictly followed. If these requirements are not met, Sulzer Chemtech USA Inc. dba FRC Systems International reserves the right to return or dispose of any or all wastewater samples without performing jar tests or other analyses. Fees paid for shipping or analytical services will not be refunded in the event of noncompliance.
1. Containment Requirements
Primary Containment

Each sample must be sealed in a leakproof primary container.

Acceptable primary container materials:
-
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE, ASTM Code 2)
-
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC, ASTM Code 3)
-
Polypropylene (PP, ASTM Code 5)
-
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
-
Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)

Secondary Containment
-
All primary containers must be enclosed in a sealed, liquid-tight secondary container.

The secondary container must be well-insulated to maintain temperature during transit.

The secondary container must also hold the coolant material.
2. Cooling Requirements
-
Samples must be shipped with cold-packs or equivalent non-melting coolant.

Do not use water ice or any frozen material that melts at room temperature.
3. Shipping Requirements
-
Samples must be shipped using the fastest available method.
-
Transit time must not exceed twenty-four (24) hours from shipment to receipt at FRC Systems.
4. Notification Requirements
-
The sender must notify Sulzer Chemtech USA Inc. dba FRC Systems International of the shipping date, method and tracking information at the time of shipment or earlier.

5. Payment Requirements

A valid purchase order or payment for analytical fees (per the attached fee schedule) must be received by FRC prior to the sample shipment date.
