Dairy wastewater often requires a different approach to account for the risk of noxious odors dairy products can generate in the wastewater treatment process. FRC’s design uses simple chemistry, limits the odor, minimizes the total footprint, and generates sludge with a high dry solids content.

Fruits and Vegetables
Fruit and vegetable applications are highly dependent on water in their processes; from conveying, washing, peeling, blanching, cooking, and canning or bottling in the plant process. The wastewater generated in these processes is high in organic content due to a large amount of natural material. FRC provides complete wastewater treatment systems including screening, DAF, biological treatment, and sludge dewatering to manage the high volumes of water and elevated organic levels.
FRC’s edible oil applications include vegetable, soy, corn, palm, cottonseed, canola, flaxseeds, hemp and other oils. Our wastewater treatment systems are designed to discharge treated effluent to Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) or local water sources. Convenience and Prepared Foods
Convenience foods include baked goods, sandwiches, potato salad, chips, frozen meals, confectionary, chocolates and many others. Most applications require an assortment of technologies including screen, equalization, DAF, sludge dewatering, and on occasion biological treatment for a complete solution.
